Before you apply, make sure you:

• are a UK taxpayer aged 16 years or over
• have your UK bank or building society account details to hand
• have an email address that, ideally, isn't shared with anyone else
• are happy for us to check your identity, address and bank details
• select 'log in to my online account' to apply if you already hold an account with us.
